Been thinking about you all a lot today. End of the year- many of you wondering what are you going to do for jobs in the upcoming weeks or months. (I'm there with you too..) Here's something I've been doing for myself the last couple weeks that I thought you might find great benefit in too.
Ask yourself for a moment- where are you focusing all your efforts at for getting more jobs right now?
One of the biggest, fastest and most cost effective ways to get more business now is to stay connected with those that you've already done business with!
When you do this you can turn your satisfied clients into raving fans who are willing to promote you like crazy!
The question is... how? Good service just isn't good enough any more. People expect it. If that's all you do and you expect more business and growth from just that alone- you're probably missing great jobs that could be just around the corner.
I've seen it (and have even fallen into this habit myself before)- of always focusing all your marketing energy and dollars into finding new business.
Although this is important, if it is all you do - you are missing the mark. You can easily spend 80% of your time chasing down the 20% customers who build your business (I fondly refer to this as the eternal 'cat chasing the mouse game.')
