That is what I'm talking about. Obviously, their roofing skills are lacking, so maybe they can just throw a few tarps over the house when it rains! LOL Of course, they'll have to remember to elevate their overlaps and to make sure everything sheds water. Smile

its very simple !!put on a seamless epdm..and wa la fixed..no more leaks and its simple to do your self..granted you have a little common sence!!

just keep coolsealin it the rest of the way.
that may help for a while.
but your gonna have to tear that thing of and put a new roof on soon.
my mai concern is ,
who did you give money to and didnt get your metal?
i cant beleive that one.

bottem line the vary first post you got was the correct one. there is no cheep eazy fix for this one. get it done right. that is the cheepest way out,

This money thing is driving me nuts. I hate to see anybody get taken like this.

This is where I'm stuck. The materials originally cost $10,000 or did the whole roof job?

If the materials cost $10,000 and your Dad had no more to pay the additional, then how would he have paid for the rest of the job?

If the entire job was $10,000 and your Dad paid for the entire job in advance and had no more money, then at the very least he should have gotten the materials and a refund.

Something doesn't make sense. I'm a contractor and if I make a mistake, that's my tough luck. On the other hand I never order materials, custom fabricated or in stock, without knowing the price. Come to think of it I never bid a job without knowing how much the materials are going to cost.

Where are the materials now?
