Hey guys I will be calling the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation tomorrow to answer my questions. Just thought I would go ahead and ask here in the meantime.

1) Do you have to be bonded and insured before the exam?
2) Do you have to repay the exam fee of $219.00 if you fail?
3) Do you no of anyone that has been denied a Illinois license for a felony offense? 8 years ago I was charged with Mobb Action/Agg Battery ... long story made short I watched a friend get his ass beat by 2 guys and felt obligated to help him, me being young and dumb at the time plead guilty and had the books thrown at me.


If anyone has a in depth breakdown of each process and the order they are taken in illinois for the license I would much appreciate it.
