Harry B,
Are you located in Hebron KY, because it sounds like a job by Ron Brown. never the less, make him replace the entire roof along with the felt, as that is what the insurance company is paying him to do. Do not accept anything less. have you tried contacting his liability insurance carrier or did you make sure he heven carried liability insurance. look at the application insturctions on the bundles and make sure they are following ALL of the instructions.

No, I don't live there.

I'm afraid I'm beginning to realize that a complete replacement is the only way to get it done correctly. I'll need to think about the felt because when I read about it, I concluded that it wasn't necessary if the old felt was in good condition.

Before I hired him I checked with the city and was told that he was licensed, and in order to be licensed he needed to be bonded.
