Not sure what you mean but let me assure you I have nothing against immigrants. Illegals are people too and one can't fault them for wanting to make a better life for their familys here, although I do wish they'd seek the proper channels to enter this country. The remark was obviously in jest and in no way malicious. As far as Lefty goes, I have no problem with him, he seems to know his stuff for the most part but I just don't get him. I'm blunt in my responses, it's just my way.

(on topic, for an average homeowner who just wants to have a nice tool in their arsenal, I like the shorter 'bent' shingle ripper. It's about 3' long with a flat blade on the end of it that has teeth for getting into / around nails & staples, plus good for helping you to pull them out)

I've used pitchforks, shovels. etc. IMO this is the shingle ripper bar none.

FYI, they are just visiting. Almost all the illegals I have met in several states of roofing have no intention of living here permanently. They want to make the American money for 10-15 years and go back home. I also worked for a guy at one point who had offered 3 Illegals sponsorship for Visa and they refused because they didn't want to pay tax. I've worked with truck loads of these guys over the years, don't even get me started, lol.
